Queensland’s Outback
Being a city girl I was not familiar with the outback, and have still only just touched its very vast surface. But it has captivated me in a way that I never expected. The space, the serenity, the night skies, the camaraderie amongst the travellers (and the amazing setup with some of those caravans) and, of course, the light. I have never seen sunsets like the ones out here - the oranges, blues and purples. I visit, I reluctantly leave, and then I dream of going back.
